Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead with strong expertise in ABAP on S/4HANA and hands-on experience supporting S/4HANA migration projects. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of SAP development, code remediation, data migration validation, and exposure to SAP BTP concepts. This is a technical leadership role requiring excellent communication and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities for SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Perform ABAP code remediation and optimize custom developments for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Support and validate data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP on S/4HANA.
• Work closely with functional, infrastructure, and business teams during migration and deployment.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Provide guidance on SAP best practices and S/4HANA technical architecture.
• Collaborate on integration and extension scenarios with exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Strong expertise in ABAP on S/4HANA.
• Experience with Code Remediation for S/4HANA conversion.
• Strong understanding of Data Migration Validation processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) concepts.
• Solid understanding of core SAP ABAP concepts including:
• Reports
• Enhancements (BADI, User Exits)
• BAPIs
• RFCs
• Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
• ALV Reports
• OData Services
• CDS Views
• AMDP
• Performance Tuning
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience leading technical teams in enterprise SAP environments is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas domain is an advantage.
