Job Summary

We are seeking a SW Development / Automation Engineer to join a cutting-edge Wireless Networks engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, automation, REST APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and containerized applications. This role involves working with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, test, deploy, and support next-generation wireless network solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement REST API integrations.
  • Develop and maintain microservice-based applications.
  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications.
  • Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Linux-based systems.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Create and execute test plans for software validation.
  • Document test cases and test results.
  • Provide Tier-3 support for production environments and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and support teams.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting and AI-enabled solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of software development or automation engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Strong experience developing web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or other automation scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, or other virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Wireless Networks (RAN, Core, or Transport).
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies.
  • Understanding of message queues, multithreading, databases, security, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of CPU, memory, storage, and performance optimization.
