Role: Software Development Engineer

We are hiring SDEs with strong experience in automation, CI/CD, and device provisioning to support OS imaging and factory readiness for Surface devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation for OS imaging and device provisioning pipelines
- Build CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and YAML pipelines
- Automate image creation, provisioning, validation, and release readiness
- Debug pipeline, automation, and device-level issues
- Work closely with Build, Test, Factory, and Validation teams
- Support NPI milestones and improve pipeline reliability/performance
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong programming in C#, PowerShell, or Python
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD & YAML pipelines
- Experience with automation testing and debugging pipeline issues
- Good knowledge of Git and Azure services (App Service / Azure Stack)
Good to Have:
- Device automation (OS imaging, provisioning, factory/lab workflows)
- Windows imaging & deployment concepts
- Test automation frameworks and validation pipelines
- Exposure to OEM/Surface or hardware-integrated environments
- Knowledge of security/compliance (SFI / Service 360)
