About the Role

As a Biomedical Intern at Analog Devices, you will support the development of innovative healthcare and digital health technologies through data analysis, research, and cross-functional collaboration. Working alongside experienced engineers and scientists, you will contribute to projects involving biomedical signal processing, clinical data analysis, algorithm development, and healthcare technology solutions.

This internship provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real-world environment while gaining exposure to advanced sensing technologies, digital health applications, and multidisciplinary product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret clinical and biomedical data to support digital health and disease management initiatives.
  • Assist with clinical validation activities, data collection, and research studies.
  • Support the development and evaluation of algorithms for biomedical signal processing and health monitoring applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, firmware, and systems engineers.
  • Create reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate technical findings and project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare technologies and medical systems.

Must-Have Skills
  • Biomedical and Physiological Knowledge: Understanding of human physiology, biomedical systems, or healthcare-related technologies.
  • Data Analysis and Statistics: Ability to analyze data and apply statistical methods to support research and engineering activities.
  • Signal Processing: Foundational knowledge of signal processing concepts and their application to biomedical data.
  • Programming and Analytics: Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and algorithm development.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Coursework, research, or internship experience related to biomedical engineering, digital health, signal processing, machine learning, or healthcare technologies.
  • Familiarity with clinical data analysis, biomedical sensors, or health monitoring systems.
  • Exposure to clinical research, human subject studies, or healthcare applications is a plus.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, or statistical analysis tools is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
