We partner with leading semiconductor foundries and assembly houses to deliver products with premium quality and proven high reliability.

Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Administrator. This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) across the organization. The administrator ensures the system operates efficiently, supports end users, maintains master data integrity, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes. The role also provides basic Microsoft 365 and end-user IT support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, who is adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable learning and supporting technologies outside their immediate area of expertise.

Key responsibilities

Business Central

•      Serve as the technical expert and functional lead for BC, owning day-to-day system operation and configuration in partnership with business process owners.

•      Manage user access, roles, and permissions within BC.

•      Configure and maintain BC environments (sandbox and production), including testing Microsoft updates before release.

•      Troubleshoot system issues, escalating to Microsoft or our BC partner when needed, and coordinating resolutions.

•      Own master data integrity across customers, vendors, items, and the chart of accounts.

•      Create and maintain item cards, including unit of measure, pricing, costing methods, item tracking, and inventory setup.

•      Establish and maintain product hierarchies, categories, and attribute structures.

•      Maintain vendor master records, including payment terms, currency, tax setup, and banking information.

•      Coordinate vendor onboarding from a system perspective, ensuring all required fields and setup are complete.

•      Coordinate with supply chain, sales, and finance to keep master data accurate; perform regular data audits and cleansing.

•      Manage number series, posting groups, and dimension structures.

•      Support the supply chain team with purchase order workflows, approvals, and receiving processes.

•      Configure workflows and approval processes to automate manual tasks and reduce errors.

•      Support CRM functionality in BC, including contacts, leads, opportunities, and customer interaction tracking, and guide sales and customer service users.

•      Support the evaluation and implementation of third-party extensions and integrations, partnering with outside consultants to validate changes.

•      Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices; train users.

•      Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards using BC's built-in tools, Excel, and Power BI, including CRM reports for the sales team.

•      Support finance and operations with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting; create ad hoc reports for management.

IT support

•      Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, mailboxes, and access for Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

•      Manage new-hire setup and departures: accounts, devices, and system access across Microsoft 365 and BC.

•      Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot company PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals, including Windows and software updates.

•      Provide first-line help desk support for hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.

•      Maintain a record of software licenses, subscriptions, renewal requirements, and IT equipment.

•      Coordinate with outside IT providers and Microsoft partners on network, security, and advanced issues.

Required qualifications

•      3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

•      Strong understanding of core BC modules: Finance, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse Management.

•      Proficiency in BC configuration, setup tables, and user administration.

•      Experience with master data management and data governance practices.

•      Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Windows PC support.

•      Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently, and to know when to bring in outside help.

•      Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and translate business requirements into system solutions.

•      Experience creating user training materials, documenting user guides, and conducting training.

Preferred qualifications

•      Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central (MB-800 or equivalent).

•      Experience with Power BI and Power Automate.

•      Familiarity with the AL programming language for minor customizations or understanding of extensions.

•      Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration.

•      Knowledge of integrated CRM systems, particularly Dynamics 365 Sales.

•      Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, distribution, and sales.
