Job Description:
The Data Engineer (Kafka, ODS/API) will build and validate foundational realtime streaming and API data layer capabilities for application programs. The role focuses on implementing AWS MSK Kafka streaming patterns, establishing a standardized ODS/API data layer pattern, and delivering at least one endtoend pilot use case to prove reuse, reliability, and scalability.
MustHave Skills
- Bachelors in CS/IS or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Build and operate AWS MSKbased Kafka streaming pipelines, including producers, consumers, and near realtime integrations
- Design and implement ODS / fastaccess data layers to support highperformance API workloads
- Develop endtoend data flows from streaming ingestion to downstream consumers, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Partner with architects, API teams, and DevOps to deliver reusable, governed streaming and ODS patterns
