Summary

Job Title: Senior Manager – AI & Analytics Delivery

Location: Philadelphia, PA  (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full Time

Role Overview

EXL is seeking a Senior Manager – AI & Analytics Delivery to lead complex, client-facing engagements at the intersection of agentic AI, machine learning, and enterprise data. This is a high-visibility onshore role responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of AI-powered solutions

The Senior Manager will lead multi-workstream programmes spanning the full AI lifecycle — from solution architecture and model development through to production deployment and stakeholder adoption. Engagements typically involve agentic AI systems, LLM-based automation, and ML-driven decision intelligence at enterprise scale.

This role demands equal parts technical depth and executive presence. The successful candidate will serve as EXL''s primary onshore point of contact, owning both delivery outcomes and the client relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery & Programme Management

  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI and analytics engagements, including programme planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting
  • Lead cross-functional teams of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and BI analysts across onshore and offshore workstreams
  • Define and govern delivery frameworks for agentic AI systems, ensuring quality, accuracy, and production-readiness
  • Manage scope, timelines, and budgets; proactively resolve blockers before they impact delivery

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary onshore client partner for Director and VP-level stakeholders
  • Translate complex AI/ML outputs — model scores, agent decisions, explainability outputs — into clear business narratives
  • Build trusted advisor relationships that drive account growth and long-term partnership

Technical Oversight

  • Provide technical direction across LLM and agentic AI pipelines, including context engineering, tool orchestration, and output validation
  • Oversee ML model development and evaluation — including gradient boosting (XGBoost/LightGBM), SHAP-based explainability, and performance benchmarking
  • Review solution architectures for scalability, latency, and integration with enterprise data platforms
  • Ensure AI systems meet client standards for accuracy, fairness, interpretability, and maintainability

People & Practice Development

  • Mentor and develop delivery staff; build a high-performance, technically rigorous team culture
  • Contribute to EXL''s AI/ML practice through reusable accelerators, delivery playbooks, and thought leadership

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in data and AI consulting or enterprise technology delivery, with at least 3 years in a senior client-facing leadership role
  • Hands-on experience delivering NLP, LLM, or agentic AI solutions in production enterprise environments
  • Strong working knowledge of machine learning — including gradient boosting models (XGBoost/LightGBM) and model explainability techniques (SHAP, LIME)
  • Familiarity with LLM ecosystem concepts: prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent frameworks, and context window management
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programmes across diverse technical and business stakeholders
  • Executive-level communication skills; able to present confidently to VP and SVP audiences
