RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Boston, M that is seeking a FS 50 50 Python Java TypeScript React Spring Boot.
Responsibilities:
* Building cloud-native applications to replace legacy platforms and technologies
* Modernizing workflow capabilities through next-generation solutions
* Enhancing and optimizing operational processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and reliability
* Delivering innovative solutions that simplify complex business processes
* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
* Develop, enhance, and maintain applications that support critical business processes and operational workflows
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards and best practices
* Develop and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations that enable automation solutions
* Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, architects, SMEs and user experience teams to deliver scalable and reliable applications
* Assist in troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions
* Work towards application modernization initiatives and the migration of legacy processes to modern platforms
* Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and continuous improvement activities
* Learn and apply emerging technologies, tools, and engineering practices to improve solution delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
* 3-5 years of full stack software engineering experience
* Strong system design, testing, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Python, Java
* Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
* Knowledge of relational databases and SQL fundamentals
* Familiarity with Git-based source control and development practices
* Excellent communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow
Experience:
* Building web applications end-to-end
* Developing scalable APIs and microservices
* Working in Agile teams
* Integrating AI-powered solutions into products
Preferred Qualifications:
* Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
* Exposure to financial services, operations, or enterprise-scale applications
* Experience in GenAI / CoPilot or any similar tool for analysis, design and code development
* Python, Java, TypeScript, React, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIsAWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SQL, Datadog, Agile Development
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
