Lead Analysts

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for Lead Analysts. Qualified candidates will be analyzing and leading the evaluation of materials; Coordinating processes to manufacture materials; Developing new uses for known materials; Selecting and justifying the most appropriate materials characterization techniques based on physical/chemical property targets, resolution requirements, and sample constraints; Acquiring and interpreting high-resolution datasets using advanced techniques, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), particle size distribution (PSD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Raman spectroscopy, ellipsometry, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and lock-in thermography; Preparing samples using methods such as microtomy, ion milling, or precision polishing to preserve feature integrity and spatial relevance; Preparing samples for analysis; Implementing testing techniques, including automated testing by writing, modifying, and executing P control scripts, collecting measurements, and preparing test result reports; and Interpreting test results in collaboration engineering managers to assess material/device performance trends and inform design or process adjustments.

Salary: $53.00 to $90.00/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: Master's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Materials Science or Materials Engineering and One years' experience in position or Materials Engineering field (or Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Materials Science or Materials Engineering and five years experience in position or Materials Engineering field).

Special requirements: Experience with SEM, PSD, XRD, thermography, and spectroscopy. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
