Job Description:

This role owns the success, reliability, and user adoption of the company's Siemens Teamcenter PLM and NX CAD environment-ensuring engineering data, CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and released product definitions remain accurate, traceable, and compliant throughout the aircraft product lifecycle. You will lead the Configuration Management discipline and serve as the system owner for Teamcenter/NX configuration, integrations, governance, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do:
    • Own Teamcenter + NX success: act as end-to-end system owner for PLM/CAD configuration, reliability, and user adoption.
    • Design with stakeholders, enforce, and continuously improve change control (ECR/ECO workflows, revision/release status rules, baselines, traceability) to ensure disciplined engineering releases.
    • Administer and configure Teamcenter (roles/permissions, licensing, user access, data structures, workflows, configuration settings) to support efficient, high quality operations.
    • Own NX CAD standards and templates (model/drawing conventions, title blocks, metadata/attributes, start parts, release package expectations) to ensure consistent authoring and downstream usability.
    • Own PLM integrations and data flow (Teamcenter ERP and other tools): define data ownership, troubleshoot issues, and drive fixes/enhancements with IT/vendors.
    • Manage engineering standards access: maintain subscriptions and access to current technical standards (ISO/ASTM/MIL/SAE/IPC) and ensure internal references stay current.

Required qualifications:
    • 5+ years in CAD/PLM administration, Configuration Management, or related work in a rigorous regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace strongly preferred).
    • Expert-level Teamcenter knowledge, including configuration and administration (e.g., data model concepts, workflows, access controls, release structures).
    • Strong NX CAD knowledge, including CAD standards deployment and user workflow optimization.
    • Demonstrated ownership of engineering change control processes and ability to coordinate stakeholders, and design, implement, and enforce robust workflows.
    • Strong technical writing skills: can produce procedures that are accurate, auditable, and easy for engineers to follow.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing configuration integrity.

Preferred qualifications:
    • B.S. degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline, such as Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
    • 2+ years of managing a team
    • Experience with SAE EIA-649 and MIL-HDBK-61B
    • Certification in CM2, CCMP, CPCM, PMP, or similar
    • Experience with PLM integrations (ERP/MRP), workflow automation, and structured rollout/testing practices.
