  • Automate provisioning, patching, and configuration tasks to reduce manual effort and configuration drift.
  • Apply security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and access controls in line with organizational standards.
  • Write and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, cloud, and operational technology teams to deliver new solutions and lab environments.

Experience: Five or more years in infrastructure engineering or systems administration in an enterprise environment.

Technical Skills: Hands-on deployment and administration of Nutanix AOS/AHV clusters through Prism Element and Prism Central. Strong administration of VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter), including HA, DRS, vMotion, templates, and resource pools. Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, VLANs, trunking, STP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), DNS, DHCP, and NTP. Experience configuring enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls. Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Windows Server, Linux administration, Active Directory, and server hardware. Proficiency in PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, or Bash for automation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP-MCI) or Master (NCM-MCI), VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV), Cisco CCNA or CCNP.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management, such as Ansible, Terraform, or Nutanix Calm.
  • Familiarity with VMware NSX or Nutanix Flow microsegmentation.
  • Process control networks (PCN), the Purdue model, IEC 62443, or supporting industrial control system (ICS) and SCADA workloads.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud and edge computing deployments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, or vRealize/Aria Operations.
Core Competencies
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain composure during critical incidents.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including writing technical documentation.
  • Ability to work across teams and explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning in infrastructure technology.
