Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect with strong Integration experience to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS architecture, enterprise integration, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native integration patterns.

The candidate will work closely with application, data, infrastructure, and business teams to define technical solutions and drive cloud integration initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT with strong AWS Solutions Architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing AWS cloud architectures for enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with AWS Integration Services, including:
  • Amazon API Gateway
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS Step Functions
  • Amazon EventBridge
  • Amazon SQS / SNS
  • AWS AppFlow
  • AWS Glue
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security, VPC, Load Balancers, and Route 53.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong programming/scripting experience with Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with API security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience integrating cloud applications with on-premises and third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable AWS cloud and integration architectures.
• Define integration patterns between AWS, on-premises, SaaS, and third-party applications.
• Design API-led, event-driven, and microservices-based solutions.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical designs, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and availability requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Review existing architectures and recommend cloud modernization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and cloud architecture issues.
• Establish best practices for AWS architecture, API management, integration, and DevOps.
