Job Description
Seeking an experienced Business Architect to drive business-led data and analytics transformation initiatives within the Supply Chain domain. The role requires a strong blend of business architecture, supply chain functional expertise, analytics consulting, and data modelling capabilities.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to define business capabilities, establish data and process standards, identify and define KPIs, prepare Subject/Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) specifications, define metadata requirements, and create functional specifications for analytical dashboards and reporting solutions.
This role serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders, data architects, analytics teams, and engineering teams to ensure business requirements are translated into actionable data and reporting solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Business Architecture & Functional Consulting

• Analyze and document current and future-state business processes across Supply Chain functions.
• Define business capabilities, value streams, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to understand business challenges, objectives, and reporting needs.
• Translate business requirements into structured functional specifications and solution requirements.
• Collaborate with technology and data teams to align business objectives with data platform initiatives.

Data & Metadata Definition

• Define and document business metadata, data definitions, business glossaries, and data catalog requirements.
• Establish consistent business terminology and KPI standards across business functions.
• Identify critical business entities, attributes, hierarchies, and relationships.
• Work with data architects to ensure alignment between business definitions and enterprise data models.
• Support master data and data governance initiatives.

KPI & Metrics Framework

• Identify and define business KPIs and operational metrics for Supply Chain functions.
• Create KPI calculation logic, business rules, dimensional definitions, and metric hierarchies.
• Ensure KPI alignment with business goals, performance management, and decision-making processes.
• Define reporting and analytics requirements supporting executive and operational dashboards.

STM (Source-to-Target Mapping) Preparation

• Gather and document source system requirements and business data mappings.
• Prepare and validate Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation.
• Define business transformation logic, mapping rules, derivations, and validation criteria.
• Collaborate with ETL/Data Engineering teams during data integration and implementation phases.
• Support testing and business validation activities.

Dashboard & Reporting Functional Specifications

• Define dashboard requirements, reporting workflows, and analytical use cases.
• Prepare detailed dashboard functional specification documents.
• Define visualization requirements, drill-down paths, filters, dimensions, measures, and user personas.
• Work closely with UX, reporting, and analytics teams to ensure dashboard usability and business relevance.
• Validate delivered reports and dashboards against business requirements.
