Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for an on-site position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.Under limited supervision, this role involves performing equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. The technician will report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and the safety of operations are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:- Safely follow standardized operating procedures including material handling, record keeping, assembly, and packaging, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Perform basic, routine manufacturing process operations such as dispensing of raw materials, material reconciliation, line clearance, basic analytics, and record transactions
- Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation
- Maintain machine uptime, perform fault clearing, and clear stoppages on automated equipment
- Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages
- Carry out equipment inspections and generate work orders as needed in the Maximo system
- Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or general operating inefficiencies
- Use computer systems to support material inventory system (SAP transactions) and electronic batch records
- Assist in the review of documentation for assigned areas (procedures, job plans, logs, audits, and batch records)
- Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive improvement opportunities
Requirements:- High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience OR an Associate's degree
- Technical equipment troubleshooting skills; ability to safely operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Strong understanding of following SOPs, batch records, GMP requirements, and documentation practices
- Ability to communicate clear pass downs, work effectively with cross-functional partners, and take ownership of priorities on night shift
- This is a fully onsite position with a night shift schedule (6pm-6:30am, alternating)
- Available to support operations on non-standard shifts, including weekends and/or holidays as determined by business needs
