Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Digital Product Owner to support enterprise digital product initiatives focused on financial applications and customer-facing platforms. This role will work closely with Digital Product Managers, Scrum Masters, development teams, and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable Agile requirements and drive successful product delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile experience, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to break down complex business requirements into actionable user stories.

Responsibilities:
* Partner with Digital Product Managers and line-of-business stakeholders to understand product scope, priorities, and business requirements
* Translate business requirements into epics, features, and detailed user stories
* Refine and manage product backlogs within Agile delivery teams
* Work closely with Scrum Masters and engineering teams during Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
* Coordinate cross-functionally across business, technology, and delivery teams
* Support applications tied to financial products including deposits, lending, and credit card platforms
* Utilize Jira and Confluence for backlog management, documentation, and Agile workflows
* Provide guidance and informal leadership across product and delivery teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR 9+ years of overall relevant experience
* Strong Agile delivery and product ownership experience
* Experience writing and refining epics and user stories
* Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
* Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Financial services, banking, or fintech experience
* Product Owner or Agile certifications (CSPO, SAFe, etc.)
* Experience supporting enterprise digital applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
