Solution Architect Energy & Utilities (Customer & Grid Platforms)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with Energy & Utilities (E&U) domain expertise to support digital transformation initiatives across customer engagement platforms and grid-integrated systems. The role will focus on enabling 360 customer experience, customer data platforms, smart grid integrations, and advanced analytics.
The candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to support customer-facing platforms, demand management systems, DERMS, AMI analytics, and omni-channel digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Platforms & Digital Experience
- Work on customer-facing applications and platforms that enable a 360 customer experience.
- Support and enhance Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and grid-integrated customer systems.
- Develop and maintain Self-Service Portals (SSP) and mobile applications for utility customers.
Grid & Energy Systems Integration
- Integrate customer platforms with grid systems and demand-side management platforms.
- Support systems related to:
- Demand Management
- Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS)
- Smart grid infrastructure
Data & Analytics
- Work with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) data analytics to enable data-driven insights.
- Support analytics solutions for energy consumption, demand response, and customer usage patterns.
Omni-Channel Customer Experience
- Design and implement omni-channel customer engagement solutions across:
- Web portals
- Mobile applications
- Customer service platforms
- Notifications and messaging systems
Digital Transformation
- Support modernization initiatives for utility customer engagement platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, analytics, and customer service teams.
Required Skills
- Experience in Energy / Utilities domain
- Strong knowledge of customer engagement platforms
- Experience with AMI data analytics
- Knowledge of DERMS or demand response systems
- Experience with customer data platforms or CRM systems
- Experience building mobile apps and customer self-service portals
- Understanding of smart grid technologies
