Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Commerce Cloud Technical Lead / Architect to lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of a large-scale B2B eCommerce platform built on SAP Commerce Cloud 2211+. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, enterprise integrations, cloud deployments, platform upgrades, headless commerce architecture, and production support.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, frontend teams, SAP teams, middleware teams, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using SAP Commerce Cloud 2211+.
• Lead SAP Commerce Cloud platform upgrades, including Commerce version upgrades, Solr upgrades, JDK upgrades, dependency upgrades, and code migration.
• Develop and maintain SAP Commerce data models, item types, relations, services, facades, converters, populators, interceptors, cron jobs, and business processes.
• Design and implement OCC APIs for headless commerce integrations with frontend platforms such as AEM or composable storefronts.
• Build and support integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP systems using SAP BTP/CPI, Integration Objects, OData Services, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Support inbound and outbound integrations for products, pricing, customers, orders, deliveries, and master data.
• Configure and optimize Solr search, indexing, facets, analyzers, search relevance, and performance.
• Customize Backoffice, HAC, Flexible Search, Groovy scripts, and Impex for administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage SAP Commerce Cloud CCV2 environments, deployments, CI/CD pipelines, cloud operations, monitoring, and production support.
• Integrate payment gateways and support payment authorization, tokenization, settlement, and troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, incident management, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements, releases, and issue resolution.
• Follow Java, Spring Framework, JDK 21, and software engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Strong experience with SAP Commerce Cloud 2211+ and CCV2.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and JDK 21.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Commerce architecture, data modeling, item types, services, facades, converters, populators, interceptors, cron jobs, and business processes.
• Experience developing OCC APIs and implementing headless commerce solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Solr configuration, indexing, search optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP BTP/CPI, Integration Objects, OData Services, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and API integration.
• Experience with inbound and outbound data integration between SAP Commerce and SAP ERP/S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with Backoffice, HAC, Flexible Search, Impex, and Groovy scripting.
• Experience managing CCV2 cloud deployments, build pipelines, environments, and log analysis.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and payment processing workflows.
• Strong debugging, production support, and root cause analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of B2B Commerce concepts including customer hierarchy, pricing, approvals, order history, and account management.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Commerce integration with AEM.
• Experience with Ping Identity, PingFederate, or PingID for SSO.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP infrastructure, Cloud Connector, Destinations, and CPI monitoring.
• Experience integrating with SAP CRM, SAP ERP, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Kibana.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, CI/CD, and release management.
• Experience with tax engines such as Vertex.
• Experience integrating payment platforms such as Adyen, Worldpay, CyberSource, or Paymetric.

Experience Required

• 8+ years of SAP Commerce (Hybris) development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP Commerce Cloud CCV2 and cloud-native deployments.
• Proven experience leading enterprise B2B commerce implementations, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
• Experience working in Agile development environments with cross-functional teams.
