Job Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Data Engineer to support and enhance the data infrastructure behind enterprise marketing measurement and analytics platforms. This role serves as the technical backbone for enterprise marketing models and reporting initiatives, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of critical marketing data assets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, data quality assurance, and production support, with hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, AWS S3, and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, performing data validation and auditing, monitoring production processes, and stewarding data delivered by third-party vendors. This is an execution-focused role that partners closely with Product Owners, analytics teams, and external vendors to ensure trusted data is available for reporting, measurement, and strategic decision-making. Deep MMM or MTA modeling expertise is not required; success in this role is driven by strong data engineering fundamentals, operational excellence, and attention to detail.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS S3, and Power Automate to support marketing analytics and measurement platforms.
  • Design and execute recurring data quality audits to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems.
  • Monitor production workflows, scheduled jobs, and automated processes to identify and resolve failures before they impact downstream reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake objects, including tables, stages, external tables, tasks, and SQL/Python stored procedures.
  • Perform data reconciliation and validation activities to ensure source data aligns with downstream analytics and vendor requirements.
  • Manage the ingestion and processing of marketing, media, spend, event, and business performance data.
  • Serve as the internal steward of vendor-delivered data, ensuring quality, lineage, consistency, and release-over-release accuracy.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain and support SFTP connections, data transfers, access credentials, and system integrations that support data workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, BI teams, analytics teams, and external vendors to support data requirements, troubleshooting, and validation efforts.
  • Translate documented business requirements into technical solutions and actionable data engineering tasks.
  • Support ongoing documentation efforts, data governance initiatives, and continuous improvement of data processes.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, ETL Development, or a related data-focused role.
  • Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and automated data workflows.
  • Experience working in production support environments, including monitoring jobs, troubleshooting failures, and resolving operational issues.
  • Experience validating, reconciling, and auditing large data sets to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Experience supporting data sourced from third-party vendors or external partners.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud-based data warehouse.
