Summary

Overview

Susquehanna is looking for a Technology Project Manager to join one of our front office trading technology teams. This team partners with trading, development and engineering to support new development or functionality enhancement requests.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead technical projects from initial request through implementation across multiple trading technology systems
  • Analyze business and regulatory changes to assess system risk and operational impact
  • Evaluate system behavior by analyzing data flows, logs, and system dependencies
  • Partner directly with developers, engineers, and traders to prioritize and execute initiatives
  • Own project tracking and documentation using Jira and Confluence

What we're looking for

Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical analysis or technical project management, with prior software development experience preferred
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing queries (joins, aggregations, data validation) to analyze and reconcile data across systems
  • Ability to understand system architecture, trace data flows, and assess upstream and downstream impacts across trading systems
  • Experience driving technical projects across multiple stakeholders with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage engineers and trading stakeholders
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Preferred:
  • Python experience
  • Comfort working in Linux/Unix environments, including command-line log analysis (e.g., grep, awk, sed)
  • Exposure to trading systems, market data, risk systems, or exchange connectivity
  • Experience assessing regulatory or business rule changes in complex technical environments
  • Familiarity with AI tools or leveraging AI to improve analysis or workflow efficiency
