Oracle EDI Functional Analyst Job Summary

The Oracle EDI Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Oracle EDI environments, troubleshooting EDI-related issues, and managing EDI implementations for new and existing trading partners. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Applications, and EDI standards such as EDIFACT and ANSI X12.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver detailed solutions through consulting project activities.
  2. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
  4. Design, structure, and deliver reports and presentations appropriate for the target audience.
  5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Position: Oracle EDI Functional Analyst

Location: Remote (Travel to Ohio may be required)

Responsibilities
  • Provide translation support for all EDI processes and systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle/SI-related support requests.
  • Analyze support requests, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor EDI server error directories and emails, resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform minor EDI map modifications and trading partner setup.
  • Troubleshoot SI/B2B Integrator Business Processes.
  • Develop and maintain EDI support processes and documentation.
  • Maintain the integrity and stability of EDI environments.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EDI environment.
  • Manage implementation of EDI products and services for new and existing trading partners.
Required Technical Skills
  • Oracle E-Business Suite 11i (11.5.10.2) and R12 (12.1.3).
  • Oracle Applications, RLM, Order Management, Purchasing, SCM, and eCommerce Gateway.
  • Strong understanding of EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and IDOC EDI standards.
  • Experience with EDI transactions including:
    • 850

    • 856
    • 810
    • 830
    • 862
    • ORDERS
    • ORDRSP
    • INVOIC
    • DELFOR
    • DELJIT
    • DESADV
  • Experience handling complex Oracle EDI-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of EDI support processes.
  • Experience with SI/B2B Integrator business process development and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
