ServiceNow Administrator / Developer (with SPM)
Remote within the State of Texas
Senior ServiceNow Admin/Developer to automate and optimize enterprise processes. You ll gather requirements, configure/develop on the NOW platform, manage releases, and support production working with minimal supervision and strong judgment. Scope includes ITSM, ITBM, and SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management).
< data-start="378" data-end="397">Responsibilities>Lead ServiceNow enhancements: analyze problems, design maintainable solutions, build/configure (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Data Policies, ACLs), and perform peer code reviews.
Maintain and upgrade the platform; create SQL-based reports/queries; troubleshoot and resolve issues with the team.
Own release management for assigned apps: validate deployables, coordinate installs, triage issues, and drive remediation.
Partner with product owners: elicit/document business & technical requirements, create options, and keep docs current.
Support testing/UAT: environments, test planning, ATF usage, and defect resolution.
Stay current on platform features; recommend new capabilities across ITSM, ITBM, SPM, CMDB, Flow Designer, integrations, and GRC.
Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience in systems analysis/administration).
10+ years SDLC experience (analysis, development, implementation, documentation).
7+ years ServiceNow SDLC; 7+ years with ITSM; 4+ years with ITBM; experience with SPM.
2+ years Flow Designer; 4+ years integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems.
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Degree in CS/CIS/MIS.
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist cert(s).
Agile/Scrum experience (ceremonies, grooming, sprint planning).
Experience with CMDB, ITAM, ATF, and GRC.
Strong project management, customer service, and stakeholder relationship skills.
