• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile tools, including creating epics/features/user stories and moving cards through the project lifecycle.
• 5+ years of experience understanding BA, QA, and DEV roles/responsibilities.
• 5+ years of experience with as-is/to-be processes and content creation.

• Adept with using BA tools such as Figma and Visio.
• 2+ years of experience in QA.

The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements from the client, and understanding the business requirements thoroughly in order to communicate business needs and system functionality to technical and non-technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community.

The Business Analyst serves as the ScrumMaster on campaign finance-related projects and coordinates with the PMO Project Manager for artifacts/documentation needed on projects.

The Business Analyst is responsible for working with the project team and stakeholders to examine existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems. This information is used to guide the gathering of business requirements as they relate to the desired system functionality.

This position includes creating test plans with the business and ensuring repeatable processes are in place beyond the lifecycle of the current project.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a mentor/teaching-type background to ensure the future long-term success of the business area, helping to solidify an Agile mindset with their vendor and supporting the long-term transition from project mode to maintenance mode.

• Responsible for documenting business requirements that are clear, unambiguous, testable, and satisfy the business need in accordance with standard templates and applicable policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Creating test plans with the business and ensuring repeatable processes are in place beyond the lifecycle of the current project.
• Documenting repeatable steps/processes and technical documentation for the business area to refer to as part of maintenance planning.
• Responsible for facilitating requirement-gathering meetings to identify impacted business processes and document project business requirements.
• Attendees include relevant project team members and stakeholders as identified in the Communication Plan.
• Responsible for adhering to the project schedule by developing and maintaining the project backlog during Agile projects.
• Work with the Product Owner to set priorities throughout the duration of the project.
• Responsible for understanding project scope and actively monitoring the requirements process to maintain adherence to project objectives.
• Responsible for understanding high-level information governance objectives and ensuring appropriate stakeholder inclusion and/or awareness regarding data requirements.
• Responsible for appropriate resolution of critical IT issues as they pertain to the BA role.
• Responsible for understanding project-specific benefits and related impacts of changes to project scope or business requirements.
• Ensures SEM (System Engineering Methodology) deliverables for the project that are the responsibility of the BA are completed, reviewed, and approved in alignment with area processes.
• Works directly with the project team, including vendor partners, UI/UX professionals, solution architects, database administrators, developers, QA testers, and others.
• Ensures understanding of the requirements, functionality, size, and scalability of the IT solution.
