Job Title: OpenText Archiving Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced OpenText Archiving Consultant with strong expertise in enterprise archiving solutions, especially Archive Center / InfoArchive / Content Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable archiving solutions integrated with enterprise systems such as SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement OpenText Archiving solutions across enterprise environments
• Install, configure, and administer OpenText Archive Center / Archive Server
• Manage end-to-end archiving lifecycle (data creation retention archival deletion)
• Integrate OpenText with SAP (ArchiveLink, ILM, DMS, VIM)
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and patching activities
• Configure and maintain content repositories, storage, and file systems
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot archiving issues
• Execute data migration and archival strategies ensuring compliance
• Support HA/DR (High Availability / Disaster Recovery) setup
• Maintain documentation and provide technical support to stakeholders

Required Skills

• Strong experience in:
  • OpenText Archive Center / Archive Server / InfoArchive
  • OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM
• Hands-on experience in SAP Archiving (ArchiveLink / ILM)
• Knowledge of data retention, compliance, and governance
• Experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of storage systems & multi-tier architecture
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

OpenText Archiving solutions are used to securely store, manage, and retrieve enterprise data while ensuring compliance and reducing storage cost

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux / Windows Server Administration
• Knowledge of SQL / Data Migration / XML / XQuery
• Exposure to cloud archiving or enterprise integrations
• Scripting knowledge (Shell / Python)
• Experience in large-scale archive migrations (TB level)

Experience Required

• 5+ years (Engineer level)
• 8 12+ years (Lead / Architect level)
