Scrum Master (Marketing)

Role: Scrum Master (Marketing)

Business Unit: Marketing Operations
Location: Vienna, Virginia (Onsite – 5 days/week)

 Pay Rate

• W2: $55 – $60 per hour

  • Includes 56 hours PTO

• C2C: $65 – $70per hour

Experience Required

• 5–10 years of relevant experience

Certifications

• Required: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

• Preferred (not required): PMP or PMI certification

Role Overview

The Scrum Master supports Agile teams by facilitating Scrum processes, removing obstacles, and ensuring the team follows Agile principles to improve productivity and delivery.

Key Responsibilities / Skills

1. Agile & Scrum Expertise

• Strong understanding of Scrum framework

• Knowledge of Agile principles and practices

• Guide teams in Agile adoption and improvement

2. Facilitation & Team Support

• Lead Scrum ceremonies:

  • Daily stand-ups

  • Sprint planning

  • Sprint reviews

  • Retrospectives

• Facilitate collaboration across team members

3. Conflict Resolution

• Address team conflicts

• Remove blockers that slow delivery

• Promote healthy team dynamics

4. Tools & Process Management

• Experience with Scrum tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps)

• Track sprint progress and team metrics

5. Budgeting & Operations

• Familiarity with budgeting and accounting operations within projects

• Support financial tracking in marketing initiatives

6. Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives

• Optimize team workflow and delivery

• Experienced Scrum Master in Agile environments

• Strong communication and facilitation skills

• Background supporting marketing or business operations teams

• Comfortable with process improvement and financial oversight.
