How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Solicit, clarify and analyze customer requirements and develop comprehensive documentation, interfacing with the customer to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for large, complex datasets (e.g., adjudicated claims), discovering, questioning, being curious about, and documenting various analytic scenarios within the data.
  • Utilize BigQuery, SQL, Python or similar tools to perform deep-dive data analysis, data validation, and inform the design of standardized data products for end-users.
  • Collaborate with technical partners on data ingestion and warehousing efforts to ensure necessary data attributes are acquired, focusing on data quality and analytical readiness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strategically create a data foundation for analytics, requiring a big-picture mindset and an openness to new approaches.
What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Strong proven ability for data profiling, researching, and interpreting complex, large-scale data, and a strong conceptual understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and data marts, with 1-3 years of experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results preferred.
  • Lead team conversations, confidently championing big-picture brainstorming, translating ideas into actionable, collaborative project roadmaps, including identifying milestones, deliverables and resource requirements.
  • Strong English communication skills, comfortable speaking with and translating between technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization, along with experience with fully adjudicated Medical and Rx claims, Eligibility, PCP Attribution, Premium, Provider, and/or Supplemental data highly preferred. Medicare Advantage experience is a plus.
