Title: Mechanical Engineer (CREO)

Key Responsibilities
• Support and coordinate daily project execution between onsite and offshore engineering teams.
• Engage with customers on a daily basis to provide project updates, review progress, address technical issues, and align on timelines and deliverables.
• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for complex, high precision semiconductor manufacturing components and subsystems.
• Read, interpret, and apply mechanical drawings, GD&T specifications, and assembly procedures accurately.
• Apply working knowledge of CAD tools, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and Design for Excellence (DFx) principles.
• Support Product Build Orders (PBOs) and ensure accurate execution during manufacturing.
• Support prototypes and pilot builds during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.
• Assist in troubleshooting build issues and support prototype testing activities.
• Review, interpret, and implement Mechanical Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), including drawing updates, BOM changes, and configuration revisions.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to technicians during onsite builds and ECO implementation.
• Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and support end-to-end ECO execution.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Product Support teams to ensure seamless change implementation.
• Act as an interface between Operations, Design Engineering, and Global Product Management to resolve supplier issues, waivers, and build challenges, while implementing the most feasible technical solutions.
• Make recommendations for tooling, testing, and process improvements using DFx principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and to improve delivered product quality.
• Apply knowledge of cable harness standards and requirements as part of system-level mechanical integration.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and build support, preferably in semiconductor equipment or high precision manufacturing environments.
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools and mechanical documentation.
• Solid understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and DFx methodologies.
• Experience supporting NPI, prototype builds, and ECO processes.
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional, global team environments.
Preferred Skills
• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Hands-on exposure to onsite build and manufacturing support.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and assembly issues under tight timelines.
