Agile Portfolio Manager

Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Agile Portfolio Manager to drive enterprise portfolio excellence through value realization, Lean-Agile portfolio operations, reporting, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with business, technology, and governance teams to ensure investments deliver measurable outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Value Management & Benefits Realization
  • Lead execution of enterprise benefits realization practices, including value tracking, validation, and reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define value hypotheses, KPIs, and outcome measures.
  • Measure and communicate business value by connecting delivery outputs to strategic outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of portfolio value data across enterprise tools and reporting platforms.

Portfolio Operations & Governance
  • Manage and enhance Lean-Agile portfolio processes, including intake, demand management, prioritization, and execution tracking.
  • Maintain portfolio operating procedures, standards, templates, and governance practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for portfolio processes, tools, and adoption.

Strategic Prioritization & OKRs
  • Support prioritization decisions through data-driven insights, trade-off analyses, and scenario planning.
  • Facilitate development and alignment of OKRs with strategic objectives.
  • Translate strategy into actionable execution plans, metrics, and portfolio outcomes.

Reporting & Decision Support
  • Develop dashboards and executive reporting that provide visibility into value realization, delivery performance, and strategic progress.
  • Deliver actionable insights to leadership, governance forums, and stakeholders.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to ensure reporting quality and consistency.

Continuous Improvement & Change Enablement
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements across workflows, tools, reporting, and portfolio operations.
  • Support adoption of new portfolio practices through training, playbooks, job aids, and Communities of Practice.
  • Champion innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate across business, technology, governance, and delivery teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Influence best practices, foster strong partnerships, and lead strategic initiatives that improve portfolio performance.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to peers while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, PMO, Value Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Lean-Agile portfolio management, benefits realization, portfolio governance, and process improvement.
  • Strong expertise in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise portfolio tools including Clarity, Jira, Rally, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of OKR frameworks and value measurement methodologies.
  • SAFe certification or equivalent portfolio management training preferred.
