Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance on system configuration, business process optimization, and post-implementation support. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional looking for a flexible, remote-first environment while working on impactful enterprise projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis: Lead requirement gathering sessions and discovery workshops with stakeholders to identify core business needs.
System Configuration: Configure and customize core D365 F&O modules (such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Project Accounting) to align with specific business goals.
Solution Design: Perform fit-gap analysis and create high-quality functional design documents (FDDs) for necessary system enhancements.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead testing cycles, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure system integrity.
End-User Support: Provide expert troubleshooting, training, and "Hypercare" support to ensure smooth user adoption.
Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical development teams and business users to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS), and Azure DevOps.
Module Expertise: Deep knowledge in at least two core areas: Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA), SCM, or Manufacturing.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) or Supply Chain Management (MB-330).
Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Upgrades: Prior experience with AX 2012 to D365 F&O migrations.
