  • Navigate customer systems and processes for specifications, drawings, part releases, engineering changes, validation plans and reports, issue tracking, and corrective-action closure; maintain accurate status and documentation.
  • Support customer during assembly-plant trials, launches, and production, including problem definition, root-cause investigation, containment, corrective action, and customer communication.
  • Coordinate cross-functional TE teams to deliver prompt, aligned responses and influence product, validation, and application decisions without direct authority.
  • Occasional travel to customer engineering locations, supplier sites, TE facilities, and vehicle assembly plants as required

Role requirements

  • 7+ years of automotive engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience with low-voltage terminal and connector systems.
  • Strong understanding of terminal and connector design, application, validation, manufacturing, and common failure modes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience supporting GM and working knowledge of GM engineering systems and workflows for specifications, releases, engineering changes, validation, launches, and issue closure.
  • Experience with wire harnesses and vehicle assembly.
  • Experience in the Resident Engineering field.
  • High-voltage terminal and connector experience.
  • 3D design software experience.
