Lead Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

• Take ownership of hands-on coding, complex business logic, and performance-critical modules.

• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs with high availability and scalability.

• Work closely with architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions.

• Implement security mechanisms using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.

• Build event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Guide teams in adopting cloud-native and containerized architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions.

• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

• Mentor junior and senior developers and support their technical growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java application development.

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17), OOP, Multithreading, and Collections.

• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.

• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.

• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ for messaging and event processing.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis).

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git/Maven/Gradle).

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
