Job DetailsIn this role, you will be responsible for preparing CMM Programs per customer specs and evaluating the quality of product throughout the manufacturing process prior to shipping.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- \tInspecting and approving pieces in casting and machining (including a complete layout each time a machining center is set up for production)
- \tInspecting and casting defects, workmanship, cleanliness, and packaging of products prior to shipment
- \tCreating certificates of conformance, material certificates, RoHs certificates, and other test reports required to ship with production orders
- \tPerforming internal ISO audits and resolving any problems found
- \tProgramming, running, and maintaining CMM
Qualified candidates will offer:
- \tBachelor\'s in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- \t4yrs+ experience in CMM Programming
- \tExperience with Roamer and Zeiss equipment
- \tAbility to operate CMM and read CMM reports
- \tExperience with PC-DMIS software
- \tOutstanding analytical and mechanical skills; strong attention to detail
- \tFamiliarity with Six Sigma
- \tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills - at all levels of the manufacturing environment and with customers
- \tGreat energy, reliability, and team work - work ethic
