Summary

The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of experience building large-scale cloud data platforms and 7+ years of hands-on experience in modern data architecture, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure. The candidate should possess 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise security controls for cloud data platforms, including IAM, RBAC, encryption, and audit capabilities. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent) is required, along with expertise in modern DevSecOps practices and integrating security controls in partnership with Cloud Engineering, CISO, and GRC teams. The candidate must also have hands-on experience with data platforms and cloud services such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, and containerized applications, as well as experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms used by multiple teams and agencies. Strong communication skills, the ability to build reusable enterprise capabilities, and experience leading through influence are essential.
