Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer to lead the planning, deployment, and ongoing support of a secure, high-performing infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This position combines deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership, supporting core networking, firewall, virtualization, and Azure services that keep critical business operations running smoothly. The role also guides technical team members, strengthens operational resilience, and helps maintain dependable connectivity, system protection, and service continuity across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and improve enterprise network architecture across multiple sites to support reliable, secure, and scalable operations.
Administer Cisco-based routing, switching, and wireless environments, resolving performance issues and strengthening day-to-day network stability.
Manage Fortinet security platforms by configuring firewall policies, VPN connectivity, SD-WAN capabilities, threat prevention settings, and audit-ready logging.
Oversee Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure, including host management, virtual machine administration, clustering, replication, storage alignment, and performance optimization.
Support Azure networking and cloud services by maintaining virtual networks, cloud-hosted systems, backup solutions, security controls, and hybrid connectivity.
Maintain core Microsoft infrastructure services such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity-related platforms, including familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
Lead technical staff by providing direction, mentoring, and practical support to encourage strong execution and continued growth.
Coordinate with external vendors, telecom providers, managed service partners, and security resources to ensure effective service delivery and issue resolution.
Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity efforts by helping design and maintain highly available infrastructure and recovery-ready environments.

Requirements

5 to 7 years of progressive experience in network engineering, infrastructure administration, or a closely related technical role.
At least 2 years of experience serving in a lead, supervisory, or team leadership capacity.
Demonstrated background supporting enterprise networking across multiple locations and hybrid cloud environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco routers, switches, wireless technologies, routing protocols, switching concepts, and network troubleshooting.
Practical experience administering FortiGate firewalls, including policy management, VPNs, SD-WAN, web filtering, firmware updates, and security monitoring.
Experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiAuthenticator is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure infrastructure services, Windows Server, Active Directory, and identity management technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet certifications, or Microsoft Azure credentials are advantageous.
