Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Effective Data is a leading EDI consulting company specializing in helping businesses optimize their supply chain and B2B processes. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Warehouse Operations Coordinator Consultant to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an expert with a strong background in Warehousing Operations and systems to work on challenging and impactful projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for integrating complex systems and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities:

• Logistics Coordination: Scheduling incoming/outgoing shipments, loading/unloading trucks, and verifying freight against purchase orders.
• Inventory Control: Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular inventory counts, labeling, and updating the database.
• Operations Management: Organizing warehouse space, ensuring efficient workflow, and conducting routine maintenance on equipment.
• Staff Supervision: Assigning tasks to warehouse personnel, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Documentation: Documenting the current environment, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and handling shipping/receiving documentation.
• Working with Extensiv (3PL Warehouse Manager)
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and provide expert guidance on technical solutions.
• Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial design to go-live support.
• Safety Conscious: Enforcing, strict OSHA, and company safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 3 5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, shipping, labeling, and inventory management.
• Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Technology: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), MS Office Suite, and Excel.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Equipment: Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery.
• Some experience with Extensiv (3PL Warehouse Manager).
