Camera Service Technician - 2nd Shift

Schedule: 2nd Shift | Approximately 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM

About the Role

We're hiring a Camera Service Technician to handle hands-on, break/fix troubleshooting of camera systems. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working independently, diagnosing issues on-site, and resolving hardware, connectivity, and power-related problems efficiently.
You'll be the go-to technician responsible for identifying the issue upon arrival and getting systems back up and running.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair camera system issues, including:
  • Hardware failures
  • Wi-Fi and connectivity issues
  • IP-related issues
  • Power and cabling problems
• Determine root cause upon arrival and complete repairs autonomously
• Check camera power and test cables for power and connectivity
• Use a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical and connection issues
• Identify loose or faulty cabling and resolve connectivity problems
• Configure and set up static IP addresses
• Work with camera and DVR systems
• Handle hardware failures by:
  • Creating RMAs
  • Boxing and shipping defective equipment to the manufacturer
  • Ordering and installing replacement cameras

Required Experience

• Proven experience using a multimeter
• Experience setting up static IP addresses
• Hands-on experience with camera systems and DVRs
• Strong break/fix troubleshooting experience
• Experience troubleshooting:
  • Wi-Fi and connectivity issues
  • Power and cabling problems
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Reliable transportation is required
• Comfortable working evening/night shifts

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
