Application Production Support

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Application Production Support for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team supporting credit desk applications. This role requires expertise in fixed income markets and experience supporting a trading desk. The consultant will act as a critical bridge between the business and IT, collaborating closely with traders, developers, and business analysts to ensure production stability and manage incidents effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure production stability through proactive, enhanced monitoring and incident management
• Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Manage releases and changes in line with the bank's guidelines
• Actively monitor the platform using provided tools and escalate issues as needed
• Work with regional counterparts to perform Start of Day (SOD) checks
• Assist traders and the trading desk using communication tools such as Bloomberg, Microsoft Teams, and Symphony
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to bridge the gap between business and IT

Requirements:

• Expertise in fixed income markets
• Experience supporting a trading desk
• Solid understanding of the RFQ lifecycle and post-trade processes
• Proficiency in log scraping
• Experience supporting credit desk applications, both in-house and vendor-supplied (e.g., ION, JAG, QuartzC, Lynx, Omega, ONCA Risk, Focus, Client Clearing)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with traders and developers
• Capability to work both collectively and independently
• Effective communication skills

Pay range: $675- $770 per day
