Job Overview: We are seeking a talented VBA Developer to join us on a contract basis to enhance our financial modeling and reporting infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with our finance team to develop technical solutions that transform the management and communication of financial data.
Responsibilities: - Design and build VBA macros and automation solutions to streamline financial reporting workflows.
- Create robust data models and standardized reporting tools across departments.
- Develop dashboards for financial data management.
- Architect end-to-end reporting solutions that balance regulatory compliance with operational efficiency.
- Automate legacy processes while guiding the transition toward modern BI tools.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing financial models and spreadsheet applications.
Qualifications: - Expert-level proficiency in Excel with Visual Basic (VBA) and Macros.
- Proven ability to architect and automate complex financial workflows.
- Systems-thinking mindset with a track record of turning chaotic data into actionable insights.
- Experience designing scalable data architecture and tool standardization.
- Deep understanding of general accounting principles, financial risk management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical implementation and executive-level financial strategy.
- Comfort translating complex business requirements from executives into technical solutions.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance operations or financial reporting.
- Media & Entertainment industry experience is preferred.
- Exposure to data governance and financial controls frameworks.

Pay Range: $50-$65/ hr
