Description Robert Half Technology is seeking a highly skilled
Senior .NET Developer to join a client's team on a short-term contract that is
100% Remote. This role is critical to maintaining momentum in key development projects following the retirement of a team member. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across both technical teams and business stakeholders. Apply today!
Duration: 3 months with potential to extend
Schedule: Monday - Friday - PST Hours
Location: 100% Remote - occasional travel to Seattle preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing support to both technical staff and business users.
- Contribute to front-end development using HTML, JavaScript, and optional frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Participate in project planning, code reviews, and Agile development processes.
- Leverage Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment management.
- Assist in database design, optimization, and query performance tuning in SQL Server environments.
Requirements - 5-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of supporting both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:- Experience with Bootstrap and other front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of additional Microsoft services and cloud technologies.
