Job Description
NMPDC (New Model Development Center) Trim/Chassis/Engine Material Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities
* Tracking Build Kits in Process and resolution of Parts issues w/ Material team
o Monitoring vehicles through each Trim Bay
Partner with Trim Process Coach to order Build kits to specific Trim Bay
Partnership w/ Pick Pack Process Coach relative to Build Kits, and Parts management (Missing/Lost/Damages) etc.
Partnership w/ Clearinghouse Clerks on Part in Service orders
* Material Movement
o Coordinating with Material Expeditor Support to maintain flow of material to correct locations
o Inventory and storage of sheet goods
o Initiate window withdrawal from GPIRS
o Investigate Missing, Lost, Damaged (MLD)
o If an MLD is entered, approval is required for items over $250.00 and MLD excel sheet must be filled in with details for all MLD"S
o Help coordinate walk in parts and assist with resolving impound as needed
o Responsible for writing misc. shipping request
* Inventory Management
o Warehousing/Scraping late pick-ups and informing requesting engineer of disposition
* Partnership with Body/Paint/Chassis/Pre-Delivery teams as needed
* Meetings:
o Lead/Support relevant meetings as required

Requirements:
o Ability to read vehicle parts assembly illustrations
o Ability to utilize GPIRS systems
o Basic office suite knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
o Prior vehicle assembly/prototype experience preferred
