Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, containerization, deployment automation, and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using scripting.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability.
Implement DevOps best practices for security, scalability, availability, and performance.
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
Manage source control, versioning, and release management processes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Git and source control management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
Additional Requirements
Must be available to work in McLean, VA.
Must be comfortable with an in-person interview.
Compensation: $45–$50/hour on W2.
