Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to support analytics and optimization products within our analytics organization. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure successful delivery of high-value features and enhancements.

The Senior Product Owner will be responsible for managing the product backlog, translating business needs into detailed user stories, and supporting Agile delivery teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases. This role plays a key part in ensuring solutions align with business objectives while delivering measurable value to users.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and experience working closely with engineering and data teams in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives
  • Translate business requirements and stakeholder needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and business teams to deliver analytics-driven solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Ensure development teams have clear requirements and context needed to deliver high-quality features
  • Support release planning and feature delivery, ensuring product increments meet business expectations
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful product outcomes
  • Assist in defining product success metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • 8-10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Agile environments
  • Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
  • Strong collaboration skills working with engineering and cross-functional teams
  • Experience supporting Agile / Scrum development methodologies
