QA Test Manager –

Need locals to Austin TX
We are looking for an experienced QA Test Manager to support a modernization project. This role will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate with business stakeholders, and manage testing activities across the full software development lifecycle.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage UAT strategy and testing activities
• Review and enhance test strategies, test suites, and test cases
• Coordinate sprint review feedback with vendors and business SMEs
• Manage defect tracking, triage, prioritization, and root cause analysis
• Provide weekly UAT progress updates and testing status reports
• Ensure UAT exit criteria are met and obtain final business sign-off
• Act as the primary liaison between IT, business teams, and vendors
• Mentor and guide QA/testing team members
🔹 Required Experience:
✔ 7+ years overseeing UAT, performance, accessibility, security, and interface testing
✔ 7+ years managing and reporting test activities on modern technology platforms
✔ Strong experience with test strategy, test cases, and defect management
✔ Experience with tools such as Jira, Selenium, JUnit, Microfocus UFT, SQL, TestSavvy
✔ Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
🔹 Preferred:
⭐ Experience with JProfiler, JMeter performance tools
⭐ Experience with Salesforce
⭐ Experience working with Texas State Agencies in a QA/Test Manager role
⭐ Leadership or project management experience
