Business Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Coppell, TX.

Duties Include:
* Partner with departmental managers and stakeholders to understand current business processes, systems, and operational needs
* Analyze workflows through process reviews, time-and-motion studies, and facilitated focus groups to identify improvement opportunities
* Define business problems and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to streamline and automate operations
* Collaborate with development teams to design, test, implement, and maintain updates to company applications and databases
* Establish project goals, scope, and roadmaps; Identify risks, monitor milestones, and develop mitigation strategies
* Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing in partnership with Deployment and business teams
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management; Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related concerns
* Support change management initiatives by assisting with training documentation, facilitating initial training sessions, and ensuring smooth transition of process ownership back to the business
* Maintain comprehensive documentation, process models, and system requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of business analysis experience
* Mortgage industry experience preferred
* Strong ability to define business problems and propose effective solutions
* Demonstrated product, process, and industry knowledge
* Experience using Jira and/or Microsoft VSTS for requirements and project tracking
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, concatenation formulas, conditional formatting, and pivot tables
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Proactive, solutions-oriented professional with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
* Strong documentation, modeling, and process-mapping skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
