Role Overview
Client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing multiple projects across infrastructure, cloud, and application domains while working closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will bring a broad technical understanding, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive projects from initiation through successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
• Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Manage multiple high-impact, complex IT projects concurrently
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation
• Ensure project delivery aligns with scope, budget, and timelines
Stakeholder & Communication Management
• Partner with senior leadership, business sponsors, and cross-functional teams
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates effectively
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery
Execution & Risk Management
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively mitigate them
• Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track
• Monitor budgets and manage scope changes
Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and recommend technical solutions
• Evaluate technology solutions and support vendor selection processes
• Identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and propose scalable solutions
Resource & Team Management
• Manage project resources and team allocation
• Ensure efficient utilization of internal and external teams
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 7+ years managing technology implementation projects
• Strong experience across:
o Infrastructure & Networking
o Cloud (Azure preferred)
o SaaS platforms
o Security or IT operations
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
• Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with law firms or legal teams
• Familiarity with legal tools such as Litera, Litify, BigHand, Intapp
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Monday.com
• PMP certification preferred
