Materials Planner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Fremont, CA is looking for a Materials Planner to support shipments for new products by coordinating engineering-owned material to appropriate shipping locations (SAF/ZSA/Wafers).

Responsibilities:
* Managing reservations for material staged in inventory locations
* Establish and maintain strong relationships between Program/Product Management, Engineering, Production Control, and Supply Chain
* Prepare Ad hoc reporting as needed by Product Groups
* Participate in cross-functional teams and communicate delivery issues related to the build schedules
* Coordinate material transfers/movement from engineering into unrestricted inventory location or Labs

REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledge of SAP transactions such as MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, MB23
* Self-starter; able to work and collaborate with team members
* Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
* Familiarity with logistics is great, really looking for experience around SAP planning
* Able to read work orders
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel using VLOOKUPs and formulas
* Familiar with creating PowerPoint presentations
* Comfortable navigating SharePoint and SAP
* Experience in a fast-paced environment; no two days are the same
* Adaptable and flexible
* Able to move quickly, knowing that your day may change

Preferred:
* Project management experience
* Ability to read and interpret multi-level product BOMs
* Self-starter; able to work and collaborate with team members
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Able to write clear email directions for inventory movement between warehouses, production floor, or engineer's desk
* Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
* Knowledge of SAP transactions such as MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, MB23

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
