Summary

  • The Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM EDM Consultant is responsible for leading enterprise master data governance and management initiatives through expert-level knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
  • This role serves as the primary technical and functional authority for EDM implementations and migrations, partnering with Finance, IT, and EPM leadership to design, deliver, and optimise EDM solutions across the full Oracle EPM Cloud landscape.

Day-to-Day Job Duties:

  • Provide expert-level subject matter expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud EDM, Oracle DRM, and the broader Oracle EPM Cloud suite.
  • Lead the design and configuration of EDM environments including complex multi-dimensional hierarchies, viewpoints, node types, derived properties, advanced scripts, and data chains.
  • Architect and implement comprehensive subscription strategies and integration frameworks between EDM and multiple downstream applications (PBCS, FCCS, PCMCS, ERP, etc.).
  • Design enterprise-level data governance frameworks including workflow policies, request templates, approval hierarchies, and data stewardship models.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants; serve as the primary point of contact for the client on the EDM workstream.
  • Lead discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with Finance and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead all phases of testing including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing; review and sign off on test artefacts.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes (train-the-trainer and end-user).
  • Lead or contribute to DRM-to-EDM migration projects, including data validation and cutover planning.
  • Regularly interact with senior client stakeholders; proactively identify and communicate expansion opportunities.
  • Coordinate and direct team members' tasks within the EDM workstream.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud EDM and/or Oracle DRM, including two or more full-cycle implementations.
  • Must have hands-on experience leading at least one Oracle DRM to Oracle Fusion Cloud EDM migration project.
  • Expert-level experience in EDM viewpoints, hierarchies, node types, derived properties, data chains, and scripting logic.
  • Deep knowledge of subscription management and connecting EDM to multiple downstream EPM and ERP applications simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data governance principles, master data management (MDM) strategy, and change management workflows.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications (PBCS/EPBCS, FCCS, PCMCS, ARCS) and their master data integration requirements.
  • Experience with data integration tools including FDMEE/Oracle Data Management, ODI, and REST APIs.
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with the full software delivery lifecycle.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams; works independently and actively mentors junior staff.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented; adapts to projects quickly with a can-do attitude.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Collaborates with Solution Architects and Project Managers to define the right solution for the problem at hand.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building client relationships at multiple levels; effective communication, meeting facilitation, and persuasive written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge through coaching, training, and mentoring.
  • Strong understanding of financial master data, chart of accounts structures, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation hierarchies.
  • Understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow processes across multiple industries.
  • Ability to advise clients on best practices in master data governance and EPM data management.
  • Travel: This position does not require regular travel. May require work from home.
  • Degree: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Nice to Have
  • Graduate degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM EDM certification preferred.
  • Experience with REST API calls, SQL, EPM Automate, and automation scripting for scalable EDM integrations.
  • Experience integrating EDM with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (GL segment values, project accounting, HR dimensions).
  • Demonstrated ability to act as both a functional advisor and a technical consultant to clients.
  • Knowledge of additional Oracle EPM Cloud modules (TRCS, NSPB, PCMCS) is an advantage.
