About the Role
We are looking for an AI Software Engineer with 2–4 years of professional experience to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering fundamentals along with hands-on experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, machine learning, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build scalable AI features and integrate intelligent capabilities into production applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-powered software applications.
- Build and integrate LLM and Generative AI solutions into production systems.
- Work with APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other AI platforms.
- Develop AI applications using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
- Integrate AI models with existing enterprise applications and databases.
- Develop scalable and reliable software following modern engineering practices.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Debug, test, optimize, and monitor AI applications in production.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data/ML teams.
- Stay current with developments in LLMs, Generative AI, AI agents, and AI development frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related role.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating AI/ML or Generative AI applications.
- Experience working with LLMs and AI APIs.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, databases, and software development life cycle.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM platforms.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or FAISS.
- Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience deploying AI applications to production environments.
