Summary

OneTrust Technical Specialist / Integration Architect (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced OneTrust Technical Specialist / Integration Architect to support a strategic enterprise privacy initiative. This role is heavily focused on integration architecture, vendor coordination, workflow oversight, and ensuring secure privacy integrations across internal and external systems. While the candidate should be technically strong and comfortable reviewing/debugging code, this is not a heavily hands-on development role.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with OneTrust workflows, privacy integrations, RESTful APIs, and enterprise system integration design. This person will partner closely with business stakeholders, vendors, development teams, and senior leadership to ensure privacy and consent management solutions are designed, integrated, and implemented effectively.
This initiative supports multiple privacy workstreams, including:
•    Universal Consent & Preference Management (UCPM)
•    Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR)
•    Cookie Management
•    Data Scanning & Privacy Operations
The role will focus on integrating privacy and consent capabilities across enterprise systems, communication channels, and external vendors, including integrations supporting email, SMS/text messaging, and customer data collection processes.

Ideal Candidate
This role is best suited for someone who can bridge business and technical teams effectively — a strong communicator who understands privacy operations, enterprise integrations, and OneTrust workflows, while also being capable of guiding development teams and ensuring high-quality integration delivery.

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead and support OneTrust integration design efforts across multiple privacy workstreams
•    Configure and oversee OneTrust workflows and scripting activities
•    Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate privacy needs into technical integration solutions
•    Work closely with vendors, architects, and development teams to ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture standards
•    Review, troubleshoot, and debug integration-related code and workflows when needed
•    Support and enhance existing OneTrust integrations while identifying opportunities for optimization and improved reliability
•    Design and oversee RESTful API integrations between OneTrust, internal applications, and external vendor platforms
•    Ensure privacy, consent management, and security requirements are embedded throughout all integration and workflow designs
•    Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality, proper implementation, and successful delivery
•    Stay engaged throughout the SDLC lifecycle, including testing, validation, issue resolution, and production support
•    Participate in sprint ceremonies and track work through Azure DevOps (ADO)
•    Create and maintain technical documentation, integration diagrams, workflow documentation, and operational runbooks
•    Clearly communicate technical concepts and integration requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
•    Strong hands-on experience with OneTrust, including workflow configuration and scripting
•    Experience with OneTrust modules such as UCPM, DSAR, Cookie Management, and/or Data Scanning
•    Strong understanding of enterprise integrations and RESTful API design
•    Technical background with the ability to review and troubleshoot code (C#, Python experience preferred)
•    Experience leading or overseeing system integration efforts across multiple teams and vendors
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate business and technical requirements clearly
•    Experience working directly with business stakeholders, vendors, and development teams
•    Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Agile delivery environments
•    Strong understanding of privacy, consent management, and secure handling of customer/personal data
•    Experience supporting enterprise-level privacy initiatives and integration programs
Preferred Experience
•    Experience working in regulated industries such as utilities, healthcare, or financial services
•    Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy/compliance frameworks
•    Experience integrating customer communication platforms (email/SMS/text messaging)
•    Experience working with distributed systems and multiple external vendors
•    Understanding of data classification, masking, and encryption concepts
•    Prior experience in solution architecture or systems integration leadership roles
