Software Engineer (Contingent Assignment)

About the Role

In this contingent role, you will support software engineering initiatives that range from moderately complex projects to contributions within larger, organization-wide efforts. You will apply strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate engineering challenges, identify solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.

You will work closely with client teams, leveraging a solid understanding of engineering best practices, policies, and compliance requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to operate within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities

Participate in and consult on moderately complex software engineering projects and deliverables.
Support large-scale planning activities by providing engineering insights and contributing to technical decision-making.
Review and analyze technical challenges, using sound judgment and evaluation of multiple variables.
Assist in the resolution of engineering issues by applying established methodologies and best practices.
Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet functional, procedural, and compliance expectations.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and promote engineering excellence within project teams.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of:
- Professional work experience
- Consulting experience
- Technical training
- Military experience
- Relevant education
