Overview:
This role sits at the intersection of technology, risk, and procurement, focused on ensuring the organization remains compliant with software licensing agreements and minimizing risk tied to third-party software usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage software licensing compliance issues across the enterprise
- Own end-to-end remediation efforts, including tracking, escalation, and resolution of compliance gaps
- Partner with IT, procurement, legal, and business teams to resolve licensing discrepancies
- Compare software usage against contract terms and ensure alignment
- Identify root causes of recurring compliance issues and help implement long-term solutions
- Strengthen processes and controls to prevent future licensing risk
- Communicate risk status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
- Support governance and reporting activities related to software compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in software licensing, software asset management (SAM), or IT asset management (ITAM), OR strong experience in IT risk/compliance
- Proven experience identifying and remediating risk or compliance issues
- Ability to interpret contracts and licensing agreements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to leadership
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, analysis)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools such as FlexNet Manager Suite, Ariba/GEP, Jira
- Experience in vendor risk or third-party risk management
- Experience in process improvement or control design

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $52.00/hr.
